Save the Children in Manica province, central Mozambique, donated yesterday, October 22, about 170 tarpaulins in response to the National Institute for Disaster Management (INGC) request for support to minimize the damage caused by the October 10 thunderstorm in that part of Mozambique.

Since 2006 and with funding from the Norwegian Government, Save the Children has implemented an anti-trafficking project in Mozambique. Major developments have taken place since the project’s initiation, including the approval of the Anti-Trafficking Act (06/2008) and a strengthened protection system, which incorporated the obligations laid out in the Act.

Save the Children in Mozambique (SCIMOZ) delivered yesterday, June 18, 100 houses to the same number of families affected by Cyclone Idai in the locality of Matarara, administrative post of Dombe, district of Sussundenga in the province of Manica.
