Last week was of a great joy for Mozambican Civil Society, especially for those working in the area of children's rights. The feat is due to the submission of three (3) thematic reports to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

A Save the Children, através dos fundos do projecto NORAD, apoiou em cerca de três milhões e seiscentos mil meticais a iniciativa da Girl Child Rights – GCR para descentralização da Linha Fala Criança -116 para responder as denúncias de abuso, violência, e uniões prematuras a toda zona centro do país.

Since 2006 and with funding from the Norwegian Government, Save the Children has implemented an anti-trafficking project in Mozambique. Major developments have taken place since the project’s initiation, including the approval of the Anti-Trafficking Act (06/2008) and a strengthened protection system, which incorporated the obligations laid out in the Act.
