“KUDZIUA”: AN APPROACH THAT PROMISES TO CHANGE THE FUTURE OF CHILDREN IN ZAMBÉZIA

Save the Children is, since June 2018, implementing a project called Kudziua in 12 communities in the districts of Morrumbala and Milange, in the province of Zambézia. The Kudziua Project (AID 011462) is financed by AICS - Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, and implemented in partnership with Rede Hopem and the University of Bologna (UNIBO).

O renascer da Isabel

Nascida na comunidade de Quembo, zona rural do distrito de Morrumbala, Isabel Feliz, muito cedo se revelou uma menina muito inteligente e aplicada na escola, conquistando o respeito de professores e colegas de turma que a elogiavam pela sua participação nas aulas e boas notas nos testes.

Star-G project: a chance for girls to advance in education

Constância Armando Gervásio is a girl aged 16 years and daughter to Gervásio Armando and Maria Katunga. She hails from Chabualo community in the district of Angonia, Tete province and has been attending the Chabualo Distance Learning Center since February 2019. The community is 32 km from the Administrative Post of Úlonguè, in the district of Angónia.

Becoming Isabel, the mentor

Born in Quembo, a rural community of Morrumbala district in Zambézia province, Central Mozambique, Isabel Feliz, turned out to be a very smart and hard-working girl at school from very early age. This paid her to earn the respect from teachers and classmates who praised her for her participation in class and good scores in the tests.
